Creative Development

Children are encouraged to express their own ideas and feelings through using a wide range of resources and to experiment in two and three dimensions.

Art equipment, including paint, glue, crayons and pencils, as well as natural and discarded resources, provides for open-ended exploration of colour, shapes and texture along with encouraging skills in painting, drawing and collage.

There are 'writing' materials available for all the children at all times and these are often used during free flow play when the children are able to make up their own games and scenarios.
