Ducklings and Puffins - for babies aged 3 Months to 17 Months

Here we have three lovely play areas for the babies, situated upstairs in the house, right next to the office.  These areas have been carefully thought out for the care and welfare of our youngest children – Ducklings aged 3 months to about 10 months and Puffins 10 months to about 17 months.

The minimum staff ratio is one adult to three children and we are able to care for six ducklings and six puffins at any one time.

Our Room Manager, Sarah, has worked within  the baby rooms for the past six years, evolving their care routines and adapting to each individual need of these little children according to their parents whishes, whilst training new team members and keeping up to date with current guidelines.

These light and airy playrooms have a huge range of appropriate toys, equipment and books, that are offered to the babies at different times through the day.  The 'milk  kitchen' adjoins the play rooms where are  bottles heated and meals prepared, a separate nappy changing area is also adjacent and there is also a separate dedicated sleep room with individual cots, completing the areas dedicated to the babies.  

Every effort is made on a daily basis to ensure that the parents’ wishes and routines are adhered to as much as is possible within the nursery setting, whilst your baby is loved and cared for here.
