Meals and Menus

Rose is our very able Cook who joined us at the beginning of 2008, she came to us with a long history of cooking for children and has introduced many tasty, appetising and nutritious dishes for us.

The children are provided with a healthy snack in the mornings and a hot, freshly prepared lunch and pudding.

For tea all the children will, again, have a freshly prepared light meal with fruit or yogurt, all meals being served with milk or water.

Meals are served whilst the children are sitting at properly laid tables as we teach and encourage, from an early age, the rudiments of good manners at all mealtimes.

The local supermarkets and butchers are used for our supplies and Rose will collect fresh vegetables and fruit from the farm shop just down the road as and when needed.  The children are also able to visit the farm shop to choose their own fruit and vegetables, making mealtimes very interesting.

We are able to cater for children with a variety of allergies and intolerances, from a diabetic diet to allergies to nuts, strawberries, wheat, milk and eggs.

We have a carefully planned four-weekly rota of menus, that change with the seasons, a selection of which can be viewed here.
