Pre-School Room Senior

Due to changes in circumstance we are now recruiting for a room senior within our dedicated pre-school

We are an independent day nursery and preschool who are now looking for the right person with at least two years’ experience working within a day nursery to support the Room Supervisor and dedicated Team.

You will be a good communicator, be patient and have a natural love for children, with experience of observations, planning and implementation of next steps. Experience managing a team is also a bonus. A minimum requirement is being qualified to a relevant level 3.

Busikids operates in a well-being environment, with an open door policy to management.

We offer a lovely countryside setting, with plenty of free parking and a well-furnished staff room with facilities for heating and storing lunches with free tea coffee and squash, with free access to the internet and wifi.

We work a unique shift system which allows for a shorter working day every other day. For example, week 1&2 you will work alternate 7.30am to 6pm and 8am to 2pm.

Weeks 3&4 you will work alternate 7.30am to 6pm and 12 midday to 6pm.

This allows for 5 half days every 2 weeks. On long days you will have the opportunity to work longer and start at 7.30 to cover breakfast club.

Extra holidays are given to reward longevity of employment.

This job will commence from January 2020

You will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check to work with the children; this will be completed along with your induction should you be successful.

Penguin Room Supervisor

We are pleased to be recruiting for a Room Supervisor for our Penguin room for children aged 18-24 months.  The room can accommodate up to 12 children per session.  Experience in this role is preferred and a minimum relevant level 3 qualification.

The job role is to ensure the provision of the best environments to promote the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of all the children, ensuring the safety and well being of these children at all times.  You will also be required to support, manage and role-model to all staff within your room to ensure constant high standards are maintained and that they have full understanding of their roles within the room.  

You will also need to implement the daily routine, following Busikids Policies and Procedures within the Nursery.

  • Experience within an Early Years setting

  • Experience working with the EYFS
  • Good Communication skills
  • Excellent Organisational skills
  • A sense of humour
